Bought it for the fence line, about an acre and a half of it. I run the trimmer forty minutes at a stretch and the shoulder was always what made me quit, not the back. Wore it over a work shirt all season and it has not stretched out.
Every other one I looked at wants to sit on bare skin. In August heat that is a non starter. This one cinches down over the shirt and stays where I put it.
First time out I had it too loose and it crept down my arm. Ten seconds on the chest strap sorted it. Spend a minute adjusting before you start and you are fine.
I switch hands when the right gets tired, been doing it for years. A single would have been half a solution for me.
Bought it for the string trimmer and it does that fine, but the hedge trimmer is the one that really has your arms up in front of you.
